True Crime Pulse
Privacy & media choices
How True Crime Pulse handles browsing, device-local choices and contact requests.
Browsing and hosting
You do not need an account to browse. Operational hosting and service providers process requests, connection information and technical logs to deliver and secure the app. We do not claim that visiting TCP involves zero data collection.
Local saves and preferences
Saved cases, optional media choices and podcast positions are stored in this browser. Resuming playback always requires your action; a previous session never starts sound automatically. They are not an account-based cross-device library. You can remove saves in Saved, change media permission in Media preferences, or clear this site's browser storage. Clearing storage may also sign an administrator out.
External media
TikTok's profile widget is optional and stays off until you make an informed choice. It may access device storage and process connection or device information for its own purposes, including tracking. Allowing it is remembered locally. Withdrawal removes the widget and reloads the page to end the loaded script; it cannot erase data already held by TikTok. Images, audio enclosures and links to other publishers also involve requests to their servers. Opening an original source is governed by that provider's policies.
Contact submissions
The contact form stores the category, affected URL, message, optional reply email and submission time in a private administrator inbox. Submit only information needed for your request. No attachments are requested. An ephemeral submission throttle uses connection information in server memory; it is not saved as a visitor profile. Platform-level abuse controls and technical logs also apply. Use Contact to ask about your submission or request its removal.
Administration and requests
Administrator authentication is handled by Base44. Privileged editor actions and the inbox require a verified administrator role. Editorial change records support review and undo. Use Contact, corrections & rights for questions or data-related requests; an optional reply email helps the operator respond.
